About Us
FDR Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing conflict resolution services to various institutions, including educational and corporate settings. One of its primary objectives is to conduct Empathy-building & Interpersonal communication workshops in schools and universities across India to address bullying and promote inclusivity. These workshops cater to both teachers and students and are designed using principles from social psychology and mediation. Additionally, FDR offers counselling services to severely bullied children and distressed students in need of support.
The overarching goal of the FDR Initiative is to establish safe and anti-bullying environments in Indian schools, allowing students to openly discuss their problems and equipping them with the necessary tools to cope.
Furthermore, FDR Initiative aims to provide conflict resolution training to corporate offices and workplaces, alongside real-time mediation for resolving disputes. These training programs serve a dual purpose: first, to educate employees and employers on conflict prevention and de-escalation techniques, and second, to actively mediate ongoing conflicts within companies.
Ultimately, the FDR Initiative strives to raise awareness and sensitivity within institutions, transforming them into more inclusive, diverse, and secure spaces through the application of psychological principles and mediation strategies.
