Workplace Conflict Resolution Training

Every manager in every company, small or large, knows the prevalence of conflict among co-workers. And in many cases, resolving conflicts at work becomes an ongoing job. Whether problems between co-workers seem constant or sporadic, handling conflict resolution in the workplace can be difficult and uncomfortable for most employees.

Many managers make the mistake of brushing conflict under the rug, hoping it will just take care of itself or, at the very least, not affect work too negatively. Avoidance is rarely a good strategy, as conflict tends to fester and get worse. Workplace conflicts can lead to major costs and risks. It can impact overall productivity and climate of a workplace.

According to a survey conducted by the Indian Society of Labour Economics (ISLE) in 2018, around 60% of workers in India reported experiencing some form of workplace conflict. The International Labour Organisation (ILO) estimates that workplace conflict costs the Indian economy approximately 0.7% of its GDP every year which approximately amounts to 18.9 billion USD.

In this context, by working with different corporate workplaces and institutions, FDR Initiative aims to equip individuals with the skills and tools necessary to resolve conflicts in a peaceful and productive manner, ultimately fostering a more harmonious and inclusive environment.

We mitigate risks of conflicts and increase overall productivity. We do this by helping leaders and employees communicate more effectively and rebuild mutual trust, through coaching, training, and conflict resolution services.
